London underground has deferred the launch of the Night Tube, which was originally planned for 12 September. Services are proposed to run all night on Fridays and Saturdays on the Jubilee and Victoria Lines along with most of the Central, Northern and Piccadilly Lines. However, the matter has led to a dispute between LU and trade unions over changes to working conditions and introduction of new staff rosters. Two strikes have led to a complete closure of the Underground network, while a further round of action was called off at the last minute.
