Serving Dutch cities better

In Britain, NedRailways operates the Merseyrail concession (25 years from 20 July 2003) and the Northern Rail franchise (six years, nine months from 12 December 2004, extendable by two years). Both franchises are in partnership with Serco. NedRailways is a subsidiary of NS (Netherlands Railways). From our position as an operator of rail services in both the Netherlands and the UK, NedRailways wants to contribute actively to discussions about the role that rail can play in solving the mobility challenges of today and the future, in London and other cities. One of NedRailways' selling points is the company's focus on exchanging rail industry knowledge and experience between the parent company, NS (Netherlands Railways), and its franchises abroad.
