CEMA has been actively redefining itself to reflect the dynamics of the North American conveyor industry today and broaden our membership. It used to be that all aspects of a conveyor system were handled by one company, everything from the design and manufacturing of the system through the sale and the installation.rnToday, you have companies that design a conveyor and outsource the manufacturing to other companies. You have integrators that buy specialized components from manufacturers and integrate them into a solution. And you have more foreign suppliers in the market. We want to include all of those new elements in the industry as long as they have some kind of presence here in North America.
