Cart design resolves pipe and valve manufacturer's safety and efficiency issues

An international manufacturer of pressure-rated plastic pipe and valves had a variety of issues it needed to fix. First, its existing stacking carts, which hold pipes prior to processing, were a safety concern. The carts were being stacked four to five high, which put excessive strain on the bottom cart. In addition, accessibility to the lower carts was prohibited until the top carts were moved with a lift truck. Above all else, safety and efficiency were key concerns.
