To stay competitive, drug suppliers and distributors need the right materials handling equipment, systems, and software tools to handle a medium to large volume of orders quickly and economically. Here are two warehouse designs that achieve all goals successfully. In this issue, we present two layouts for handling over-the-counter Pharmaceuticals. While both facilities have the same objectives — handle orders fast and economically — each facility has a unique set of constraints and requirements.
