A top public health director has attacked the Government's decision to prioritise vaccinations by age as 'deeply flawed'. Director of public health at Blackburn with Darwen Council, Dominic Harrison, criticised the Government's decision last week that the second phase of the vaccine rollout should start with all those aged 40-49. He cited figures that showed more than three times the number of 40-49 year olds had been infected with coronavirus in some regions compared to others, with even greater disparities at local government level.
