Cotswold DC goes it alone on management sharing

Cotswold DC has pulled out of plans to share a management team and chief executive with Tewkesbury BC. The council has been sharing its chief executive, Bob Austin, on an interim basis with Tewkesbury BC since May 2007. The two authorities commissioned a report by consultant Tribal to look into how their partnership could be developed, which recommended sharing a management team. But, after further discussion, Cotswold's cabinet decided to go it alone.
