Do you Want to Study a Project Overseas?

The MJ and Vertex are inviting applications from full-time contracted professional officers working for local government within the UK to study a subject of their choice alongside a local authority in an overseas country. In this first year, The Best Practice Foundation is focusing on the 10 countries which joined the European Union in May 2004. Successful applicants from town halls across the UK will receive a bursary towards their undertaking a study visit to a local authority in one of the accession states. The visit will help the applicant's personal development, and it will also create an opportunity for them to share their own expertise and insights with the host authority.
