Working in local government we know that we can make a difference in our local communities. As finance professionals, we often have the privilege of being a part of finding ways to fund projects and attempt to squeeze 'just a little bit more' out of the public money we and our partners have access to. Hearing success stories of the real impact this can have on individuals makes us feel more willing and able to push that bit harder to make things work financially.
