The crowdfunding website Funding Circle has insisted it remains committed to local authorities despite the end of its partnership with Herefordshire Council. A spokesman for the company said it remained 'positive' about their other local authority partnerships, after Herefordshire Council announced its joint venture had 'served its purpose'. The council and the website joined forces in 2015 to help raise money for local businesses.
