Jobs Focus: North Yorkshire - Corporate Director of Health and Adult Services

We need a Corporate Director of Health and Adult Services with vision, leadership and drive. This role is part of the Council's Management Board and has an influence beyond health and adult services to directly contribute to the wider management and leadership of the whole council. We need someone who can work successfully with all key stakeholders to take them with us as we design and deliver a new operating model and integrate with health services. North Yorkshire is a great place to live and work; but there is much more to the region than its recognised natural beauty. The quality of life is high for most but the county has challenges, not least due to its rural nature, and low funding base. The health and social care economy is particularly complex with six clinical commissioning groups, four acute and community NHS foundation trusts and three mental health and learning disability NHS foundation trusts serving North Yorkshire.
