The UK's oldest and largest national children's charity is looking for two people to help lead ambitious expansion plans as it works to meet growing demand from the most vulnerable in society. Barnardo's is already renowned for the quality and scope of its services and last year helped an incredible 200,000 children and their families. But it wants to do more and has created two new senior positions to make that happen. As chief executive Javed Khan explains, neither is for the feint-hearted nor for those daunted by the scale of Barnardo's. For example, its 8,000 staff and 15,000 volunteers enable the charity to run more than 900 services across the UK -supporting everyone from young people leaving care to exploited children.
