West Sussex set to trim senior line-up

West Sussex county councillors meet on 30 June to discuss cutting its senior management team from eight to four. The council's governance committee will consider a report, which recommends a new top team of four executive directors, including a new commercial director and a new director of economy. The report also recommends the local authority carry on with a chief operating officer, after scrapping the chief executive role in January.
