Bath and North East Somerset Council has confirmed that it intends to bring forward an agreed restructuring of its senior management team by six months. The council previously agreed in November 2010 to reduce its senior management team to include only three strategic directors by January 2013. The initial phase of implementation involved the restructuring of the senior management team, resulting in the appointments of Ashley Ayre as strategic director for people and communities, and Andrew Pate as strategic director for resources.
