West Sussex CC has invited local groups to apply for a share of its £250,000 social enterprise fund. Community organisations have until 30 July to submit applications - and the council will announce the winners in October. Last year, the local authority awarded £15,000 to the YMCA to expand its Brighton-based painting and decorating social enterprise, and the same amount to Chichester Mind to promote mental health and wellbeing.
