Oldham MBC's renaissance continues as it seeks to appoint five assistant executive directors.New chief executive Charlie Parker is pushing ahead with a slimmed down structure based around themes rather than specific services. A new four-strong executive management team has been appointed and all are expected to be in post by April.Now being sought are officers who will form part of this new senior management structure. The five posts now being advertised - assistant executive directors of corporate policy, communications and marketing, health and wellbeing, neighbourhoods, and strategic projects and investment - form part of the 17-strong second tier team.The new structure will enable the authority to strengthen its managerial leadership. 'It will make our organisation more relevant to our customers by better reflecting the areas that residents, businesses and others in Oldham have told us are important to them,' says Mr Parker.
