Biffa reveals refinancing package to reduce ￡500m of group debt

Waste and recycling contractor Biffa has announced a new refinancing plan to reduce its debt by more than ￡500m. The local government contractor announced the plans on 29 November, including a /75m injection of cash from a group of new shareholders which will fund an infrastructure programme.
