Tentative recovery in the property market has delivered a cash boost for a royal borough, after the ￡100m sale of prime London land.The sale by Kensington and Chelsea RLBC of a two-acre plot, currently occupied by Holland Park School in Kensington, went through, as developers are gearing up to meet increased demand for upmarket flats.The deal raised interest across the commercial property sector, since it is among the largest of its kind in the last 12 months, and involved the UK's biggest landowner. The project, to create72 luxury flats, is a joint venture between the Duke of Westminster's Grosvenor Estate and developer Native Land.
