First-time council members give CIPFA a new line-up

Three new members of the governing council of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) have been elected for the first time, while a fourth member is to rejoin the council after a short absence.The new members are independent consultant, Angela Brown, who is also a member of the Local Authority Accounting Panel; Christina Earls, review manager at the Department for Work and Pensions; and Andrew Burns, directorof finance at Staffordshire CC, who is also involved with the financial leadership development programme, run by the institute, and the Society of County Treasurers.
