Bristol City Council this week held a conference to highlight the opportunity of using council-owned premises to voluntary and community organisations.Representatives from communities across the city found out how they could manage such a building.Cllr Bev Knott, cabinet member for neighbourhoods, said: 'We believe local people are frequently the best placed to manage a community building in their area.'
