Chief executive of local government think-tank Localis, Liam Booth-Smith, is to step down to take up a position as director of policy at Policy Exchange.Mr Booth-Smith took up his post in July 2016 following a decade as a researcher on politics and public service reform, including as head of communications and external affairs at NLGN.
