Almost two out of three MPs want funding for social care to be increased by £7bn a year over the next two years, a survey has found. Polling for Health for Care, a coalition of 15 health organisations, discovered almost a quarter believe the rise should be more than this. The Government said it was committed to reform and will publish proposals later this year.
