Friends and colleagues have paid tribute to Harold Bodmer, executive director for adult social care at Norfolk CC, after his sudden death. Mr Bodmer, who was 61, collapsed during a meeting of the health and social care executive of Norfolk council and, despite medical help at the scene, he could not be revived. In April, he had taken up his tenure as president of the Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS).
