£12m grant for sector-led improvement

The Department for Communities and Local Government will provide a £21m grant for sector-led improvement in 2017/18, it has been confirmed. Head of improvement at the Local Government Association (LGA), Dennis Skinner, said the grant was a £400,000 cut on the amount received the previous year.
