A new, /12m capital growth fund has been launched to offer grants and loans to social enterprises providing health and social care services. The money has been released by the Social Enterprise Investment Fund (SEIF), and will offer grants worth between £50,000 and ^150,000. The SEIF is managed by the Social Investment Business and Local Partnerships, on behalf of the Department of Health, and the money is available to buy or refurbish buildings, purchase vehicles and large pieces of equipment.
