The most popular misconception about Milton Keynes is that it is all concrete cows and roundabouts, but as the people who live and work there will tell you the reality is much different; this green and thriving borough is delivering on the promise of being Britain's most successful 'new city' and its leaders are also delivering, with a refreshing 'can do' attitude and big ambitions. It is this attitude and ambition that has helped transform Milton Keynes, created in 1967 with a population of around 60,000, into an economic powerhouse which is now home to more than 250,000 people.
