Consultation has begun on the second reorganisation of senior management at Cardiff Council. The local authority has already restructured its top two tiers of management-including chief officers, corporate directors and heads of service-and has now focused on changes to the structure of operational managers. The plans will see a reduction of operational management posts by 20%, resulting in efficiency savings of ￡/2m. Council leader, Cllr Rodney Berman, said: 'We have had to accept we must make hard choices in these difficult financial circumstances.
