Sharon Kemp has joined Haringey LBC as assistant chief executive. Ms Kemp takes one of two assistant chief executive posts, responsible for policy, performance, partnerships and communication. She joins Haringey from Blackburn with Darwen Council, where she held the post of assistant director for neighbourhoods in the regeneration, housing and neighbourhood department. Phil Harris also joins Haringey this month as assistant director for strategic and community housing services. Mr Harris was awarded an MBE this year for services to local government and moves from Plymouth City Council where he was assistant director of community services, responsible for housing services in the city.
