Tenants at risk of being made homeless once their landlord's property is repossessed will enjoy new protection, under plans announced by housing minister, John Healey.When landlords let their properties without the knowledge or consent of lenders, tenants currently have fewrights if the property is repossessed - and can find themselves homeless within days of an order.Evictions involving such tenants are on the increase during the recession, and the CLG estimates up to 3,000 households could be affected this year.
