Government plans to unite health and local government will deliver savings of 2m, according to the new team aiming to make them a reality.Despite the health White Paper only being at consultation stage, Blackburn with Darwen Council and Blackburn with Dar-wen NHS Care Trust Plus have unveiled their new joint executive team that will help the two organisations save money.The joint team is the first stage in an ambitious management merger that will change the way healthcare is commissioned in the borough.
