￡3m boost for pilots to drive carbon agenda

Communities secretary, John Denham, has announced ￡3m funding for nine local authority areas to pilot local carbon frameworks.The CLG will work with the councils - in Bristol, Bournemouth, Poole and Dorset, Haringey, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, Northumberland, Oxford and Plymouth - to set and deliver 'ambitious' targets to reduce emissions.
