County's renewed Interest in care

Gloucestershire Care Services are launching a new social enterprise organisation from 1 October, providing community-based health services, including nine community hospitals, district nursing and therapy staff. The Community Interest Company (CIC) will be an NHS service, free at the point of delivery, with any surpluses reinvested in local services. Meetings have been organised this week to discuss how interested parties can be involved in shaping the membership model for the CIC. The proposal is eight staff forums with members then elected to a staff council.
