DWP targets vulnerable youngsters with ￡7m deal

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has awarded two social investment partnerships contracts worth up to ￡7m, to help 2,500 vulnerable young people in the Thames Valley and the north-west of England. Through social impact bond funding, the partnerships will receive outcome- based payments over the next three-and-a-half years for improving the employment prospects of 14 and 15-year-olds.
