An employment tribunal last week ruled in support of female union members in their dispute with their employer, Trafford MBC, over the union's campaign for equal pay. Some 200 female members of Unison will now receive equal pay and back pay from Trafford. The union's regional manager, Steve Stott, said: "This is a great victory for our members who have been discriminated against for so long, and an indictment of the council.'
