Glasgow's £400m City Deal plans take shape

City Deal regeneration plans in Scotland are taking shape after Glasgow City Council outlined proposals for £400m of projects. The local authority's regeneration and the economy committee were drafting business cases for six projects, which will take place over the next decade. One project involves the regeneration of the city centre, including the resurfacing of streets and pavements, adaptable lighting systems and new underground facilities. The council has allocated this project a budget of £115.5m.
