Royal Berkshire's first community tri-service station has now been opened, signalling the first stage of bringing together the area's blue light services. Back in 2015, Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Services (RBFRS), Thames valley Police (TVP) and South Central Ambulance Service (SCAS) made a shared commitment to collaborate on property sharing and co-location. The refurbishment of Hungerford Community Fire Station not only delivers a modern and fit-for-purpose fire station, but it also provides shared facilities for the blue light services.
