Council welcomes freight train service from China

Barking & Dagenham LBC has welcomed the arrival of the first-ever direct freight train service from China to the UK. The first train, carrying millions of pounds worth of goods, set off from the Chinese city of Yiwu and reached the London borough last week, ariving at DB Cargo's London Eurohub terminal for freight in Barking.
