Life on the run

Gareth Moss was asked by his local paper which Hollywood actor would play him if a film were made of his life. The new head of resources and finance at East Staffordshire BC told them his family would say Joe Royale from TV's Royale Family and his staff would say David Brent from The Office. Well, he certainly doesn't run like either of them! I must have had a particularly good journalist's lunch when I agreed to join him on his eight mile run into work. If I'd seen a picture of the finance chief I may have thought better of it. Despite being a keen runner, Gareth is definitely not on the treadmill of life.
