Ofsted rejects 'interference' in Baby P case

Education watchdog Ofsted has hit back at claims it was pressurised by Ed Balls to 'sex up' its report on Ha-ringey's head of children's services, Sharon Shoe-smith, over the Baby P scandal.Court reports were released last week, and Ms Shoesmith's legal team said they showed that the children's secretary put pressure on the inspectors to beef-up the report and give Mr Balls grounds to remove her from office.
