Threshold for living wage' rises to £7.45

Low pay campaigners at the Living Wage Foundation and Citizens UK have this week increased the threshold for employers wishing to pay the 'living wage' by 25P an hour. The new national living wage rate is now £7.45 an hour, a sum calculated by the Joseph Rown-tree Foundation as the amount needed to provide an adequate standard of living.
