Westminster City Council has appointed Julia Corkey as its new director of communications and strategy, following the departure of former director Alex Aiken. Ms Corkey has been acting director at the London borou,gh since Mr Aiken left earlier this year to become executive director of government communications. Prior to her appointment, she was assistant director.
