Staff T&Cs deferred

Denbighshire CC councillors have voted to defer a decision on changes to staff terms and conditions while further discussion take place. The local Unison branch had threatened strike action over plans which it claimed would see staff being dismissed and re-hired on different contracts. But now the union has won a victory which will see further discussions on how to achieve the remaining ￡0.5m savings.
