Northampton BC's chief executive David Kennedy has resigned. Former Gedling BC boss Mr Kennedy, who has been chief executive at Northampton for almost 10 years, is believed to have told managers this week that he will be leaving towards the end of the month. In a statement, he said: 'I have been proud to serve the public for the last decade. The time is right for someone else to lead the council's committed staff.'
