NHS chiefs may have to revise ambitious savings targets because of the continued underfunding of social care, health experts have warned. As the sector hits the midpoint of the NHS Five Year Forward View, King's Fund chief executive professor Chris Ham said 2015 forecasts were predicated on protection for social care and public health, 'neither of which has happened'.
