Ireland decides to step down

Lincolnshire CC chief executive Keith Ireland has left the council after just a few months in post.Mr Ireland, who was previously managing director of Wolverhampton City Council, was appointed in March this year.In a joint statement, the chief executive and council leader Martin Hill said: 'Over the last few months it has become clear that we do not share the same approach to a number of important issues that are facing the council.
