Education and skills funding for post-16s including the Apprenticeship Levy should be devolved to ‘large or sensible geographies' as part of any new 10-year plan, said the chair of the County Councils' Network ,(CCN).Cllr Paul Carter told an evidence session of the Commons education committee that in terms of which geographies would work, 'local enterprise partnerships (LEPs) are being talked about'.
