Action urged amid move on migrant rules

The Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS) has urged action as Government considers whether to exempt the care sector from new immigration rules. Whitehall is reportedly considering the exemption amid fears that a no-deal Brexit could lead to the system collapsing by Christmas. There are fears that existing pressures coupled with an exodus of EU workers and the return of British pensioners living on the continent could prove too much for the system.
