Research finds care impacted by lack of NHS funds

Insufficient resources in the care system will undermine investment in the NHS, new research has suggested. Analysis published this week by The Health Foundation charity warned achieving the aims of the NHS Long Term Plan would be 'extremely challenging' without 'urgent Government action' on wider funding. The analysis cited a survey of frontline NHS leaders that found nine in 10 are not confident NHS reforms are possible without a long-term financial settlement for social care.
