We're always aiming to raise the bar when it comes to listening to local people in Dudley -even if that gets a bit uncomfortable at times. Some time back we hit on the idea of taking conversations to where people are rather than expecting them to come to us. It sounds simple enough, but it can be tricky. We hold regular live video question and answers sessions with people via Facebook. The concept involved myself as leader of the council staring down the barrel of a camera answering people's questions on any subject for just over an hour.
