Need for Spending Review is urgent - IFS

There is an 'urgent' need for a Spending Review, the Institute for Fiscal Studies' (IFS) director Paul Johnson has claimed after chancellor Philip Hammond said his plans were dependent on a Brexit deal being agreed. In his Spring Statement last week, Mr Hammond said a three-year Spending Review would begin before the summer recess and would be finalised in the Autumn Budget.
